Liberation of Mr. Tarrant
" In reply to Mr. E. James, Mr. C. Fortescue said that on the receipt of a Despatch from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, The Governor of Hong Kong in conformity with that Despatch put an end to the imprisonment of Mr. Tarrant, the Editor of the Friend of China. Mr. Tarrant was now and had been for some weeks at liberty. (Hear hear)"
